The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says it’s continuing to investigate an accident that seriously injured an area man.  It happened on Pinkerton Lane around 8 p.m. Wednesday.  Lt. Matt Boyd says 37-year-old Jason Bright of Zanesville was traveling north on Pinkerton when he struck a man walking in the same direction.  Lt. Boyd says that man is identified as 59-year-old Charles Green of Pinkerton Lane.  Bright told troopers that Green was in the roadway in dark clothes.  Sergeant Melanie Appleman says there is still a lot of information to be gathered to decipher who was a fault.  The investigation is expected to continue into next week.  Green was flown by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus and is listed in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
