The Zanesville Police Department says it is continuing to investigate a shooting incident outside Hoppy’s Bar on Putnam Avenue.  It happened early Sunday morning about 4 o’clock.  Detective Harry Taylor says several gunshots were fired into a crowd outside the bar.  Taylor says two males ages 38 and 37 and two females ages 33 and 22 were injured by gunfire.  One person was reportedly shot five times.  All four subjects were transported to Genesis HealthCare and three were flown by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.  Police says a fight also happened at Genesis related to the shooting incident. Detective Taylor says at this time there is no clear motive in the incident and its unknown how many suspects were involved in this shooting incident.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Zanesville Police Department.
