West Muskingum High School needs your help to win several thousand dollars for its sports program.
The school is participating in the Chris Spielman High School Team Challenge and have made it to the final round. If they win, they will receive 10 thousand dollars for their pay to play sports programs. At the local school, there are 17 sports and activities that hundreds of students participate in and they have to pay for all expenditures.
“Basically, it just helps our school a lot, I know people struggle with play to participate especially if they have more than one child,” said West Muskingum Student Hannah Tincher.
“And more than one sport, that's really a challenge,” added Reagan Tyner, another West Muskingum Student.
In order to help, you must go to the High School Team Challenge website at www.highschoolteamchallenge.com, select West Muskingum School, which is in division five and vote! Keep in mind you can only vote once per day.
"And it would help kids get involved in more activities, because if they are held back by the pay to play, if they shorten the costs, this would just put more people in,” explained Tyner.
“Yeah, after the levy, we just need all the help we can, to get us back up on our feet and keep things going in the right direction, " Tincher said.
The last day to vote is this Friday....so go online and vote!
