The Muskingum County Ohio State Alumni Association met at The Barn for a special" Beat the Boilers" football game watch party on Saturday.
More than 100 buckeye fans met at the bar to cheer on their favorite team, eat lunch and participate in a special buckeye raffle.
"We have a lot of OSU spirit items and things for your car like license plate holders, flags and things like that," said Alumni President, Terry Kopchak. We also have OSU memorabilia, we have some great prints of Urban Meyer and Jay Burson. "
More than 20 items were for sale at the raffle and all of the proceeds will go towards the Alumni Scholarship Fund that helps future Buckeyes pay for tuition.
"Our club gives away annually any where from $5,000 to 10,000 to Muskingum County students who are attending any of the OSU campuses. "
Kopchak says that fundraising is one of the association's biggest purposes and that students can receive scholarships anytime during their college career. He also says he is pleased with they way the season has played out so far, but he won't be satisfied until Ohio State comes home undefeated for the year.
