As many begin the rush to Christmas this Black Friday the "Public Interest Research Group" has released their annual Trouble in Toyland report.
The PIRG said that even though toy recalls have declined toxic and dangerous toys are still available on store shelves. The report also provides a list of toys that failed its choke tube test and those that tested with high amounts of lead in its laboratory testing.
Officials said that members of the toy industry are intent on assuring that the toys consumers bring into their homes are safe for their families year-round and not only during the holidays.
Some of the toys making the list this year include:
Potential Choking Hazards:
Potential Toys Containing Lead and other Toxic Chemicals
Potential Hazardous Magnet Toys
Potential Noise Hazard Toys
