Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a breaking and entering and theft at Newark High School.

The Newark Division of Police reports on the night of November 20, a man entered Newark High School and stole a set of keys, credit cards, and a checkbook out of the principal's office. The suspect fled the building after being spotted by a custodian.

The suspect is described as a white male, 18-25 years old, about 5'10", and 240 pounds. He was seen wearing a red winter coat with a hood, baggy pants, brown gloves, and black boots.

Pictures of the suspect were taken by the school's security camera.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
