A cabin in Muskingum County caught on fire Tuesday morning.  It happened just after 11 a.m. at 720 Lodge Road about two mile west of New Concord.  Fire investigators say it took New Concord Fire Fighters about 45 minutes to put out the flames that were likely caused by a wood burner. Fire Chief Brent Gates says his crew was able to respond in a short amount of time since his department now is temporarily using two paid fire fighters on station 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  They hope to make the move permanent if a levy can be passed in November.  No injuries were reported. The name of the occupant was not available.
