People in Zanesville and the rest of Ohio awoke to another blast from old man winter.

The predicted snow has resulted in snow emergencies being issued for our area.

The following counties are under a Level 2

  • Muskingum
  • Guernsey
  • Coshocton
  • Perry /Noble/Morgan

A Level 2 snow emergency means that roads are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it necessary to drive should do so. You should also contact your employer to see if you should report to work.

The following counties are under a Level 1

  • Licking

A level 1 snow emergnecy means that roads are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow and you should drive with caution.

The high winds gusts today are making the snowfall more difficult to deal with. The updated list of Snow Emergencies and Cancellations is available on demand by clicking on the red banner at the top of this page.
