Ohio University Zanesville invited the community to an open house on Saturday for perspective students to check out what the college has to offer.
Parents and students were given tours of the school, information about financial aid and had the chance to talk to current students and faculty about curriculum.
"It's been really great. We have had a really interactive question and answer session with the faculty representing programs here and programs that were represented by the faculty, as well as other general programs on the campus and some of our student activities," said Student Services Director, Susan Montgomery.
Currently the school has 13 bachelors and 15 associates programs to offer students as well as the 1st and 2nd years of 250 programs offered at the Athens campus.
"I think that they really are surprised at how much we do have to offer here and the affordability of it, and the fact that they are a part of the Ohio University family, " said Montgomery.
Montgomery says that students that complete four years at the college will pay approximately $20,000 compared to four times that amount at many other universities. If you missed the open house you can visit the student services office or give them a call by phone for more information.
