A man accused of calling a bomb threat into the Perry County Courthouse appears in court.

A preliminary hearing was set for Thursday in the case of 29-year-old Gregory Allan Goodin. Bond was also set at $50,000 and an attorney appointed.

Sheriff William Barker said his deputies were informed by the New Lexington Police Department about the threat on February 18. The facility was evacuated  and searched by a bomb sniffing dog, which found nothing.

Goodin has previously been in trouble with the law on charges of drug abuse.
