Hundreds of families throughout the area met at the House of Grace Church to hunt for Easter eggs on Saturday.
more than 20,000 eggs were sprawled throughout the grounds. Each egg either contained candy or a special gift certificate for the children to take home with them.
They loved it, totally loved it. They been coming to us and the bikes, you ought to have seen the little boys face when he pulled the bike out of his egg, I was right there close to him and he was ready to see that he had won the bike," said Pastor Joe Dunlap.
Along with the hunt there was also face painting, cotton candy and even a few Easter bunnies for photo opportunities. One special visitor also decided to bring a real rabbit of her own to the event.
" This is Bambi and he's a loopy ear, and he is very tamed and he loves carrots," said egg hunter, Haven Omen.
If you missed the Easter egg hunt, Pastor Joe invites you to service this Sunday. Once again, House of Grace Church is located on the Maysville Pike, he would also like to thank the volunteers for their countless hours filling and distributing each egg.
