Art in the Garden, sponsored by the Beaux Arts Club, began its two day event today for the third year in a row Saturday.

Melanie Klotzback and Nancy Susa (upcoming President) are the co-chairs of the event.

Over 250 people are expected to take part in the fundraising activities. The event raises money for the Zanesville Museum of Art. Saturday evening began the Garden Party Gala which ran from 6:30 to 10 pm. Melanie Klotzback, Co-Chair for the Art In The Garden event, said it has a lot to offer guests.

"We have a live and silent auction, as you can see there are many different items here up for bid tonight. A lot of different artwork, and a lot of different packages for things that businesses have donated."

Sunday the Garden Tour, the second part of the two day event will be held. It runs from 11am to 5pm and gives those attending the chance to see some beautiful landscaping up close.

Klotzbach said, "7 lovely gardens in the area are opened up for everybody to come and stroll through the gardens"

If you didn't get the chance to make the Garden Gala today, Klotzback says tickets are still available for the Garden Tour tomorrow. They are twenty dollars a piece, and you can buy them at the Zanesville Museum of Art tomorrow morning.
