The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says the search continued Thursday for two missing men presumed drowned in the Muskingum River. O-D-N-R says the search had to be modified due to the swollen river.  Team members searched the shoreline looking for the men.  Spokeswoman Eileen Courson says the river is flowing at between 6 and 8 miles an hour and the sonar that they use is only effective to 3 miles an hour.  Courson also reported that helicopters were not used in today’s effort. It all started on Tuesday afternoon when the two men stole a boat near the Zanesville Yacht Club and ended up over the dam and knocked into the river.  State and local officials plan to resume the search Friday at 8:30 a.m.
