A methamphetamine lab was seized from a Somerset home where a 10-month-old child was living.

Elephants, Camels and donkeys don't even begin to cover all that the Carson and Barnes Circus has brought to Zanesville.

Roadway problems that were thought to be understood in the Eastpointe Industrial Park have taken a turn.

It was believed that a slip was forming in the roadway, but Muskingum County Engineer Doug Davis told Port Authority Wednesday morning that there are actually other issues causing the problem.

Pyrotechnika is set to host a "Luminaria" show at the Colony Square Mall.

The Southeast Ohio 2-1-1 call center released their monthly report Tuesday.

The call center is a free service open 24-7 to help callers with any informational questions they might have.

The Newton Township Fire Chief is warning residents  about a phone scam.
 

Chief Allen Deaver says an elderly woman was contacted Tuesday by someone asking for money for the Newton Township Fire Department.

The caller asked the woman for her bank account information which she gave to the person.
 

Deaver says his department is not soliciting funds over the phone.

Scholarship Central and the Muskingum County Community Foundation received a grant that will allow them to hire 5 people to become Americorps Ohio College Guides.
