Elvis L. “Bama” Morrison 71 of New Concord passed away Tuesday September 22, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center. Elvis was born in Brooklyn, Arkansas to the late William Franklin and Irene Inez Millsap Morrison. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1997. He and his wife Jacquelynn celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on March 14, 2009.
He is survived by his loving wife Jacquelynn Bertus Morrison of New Concord, One son Roland (Beverly) Morrison of Lorain, Ohio. Three daughters: Sandra Morrison of Lorain, Ohio, Lynn (Richard) Smith of Rocky River, Ohio and Karen (Eddie) Mike of Lorain, Ohio. Two brothers Bill (Agnes) Morrison and Hubert (Kay) Morrison both of Jonesboro, Arkansas and a sister Mary Ann Falls of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Several nieces and nephews. Eleven Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by his gang of Outlaws: Moss, Mark, Bob, Chuck. Bo, Larry, Dave Sr., Dave Jr., Vitals and Ralph.
In addition to his parents Elvis was preceded in death by brothers: James, Jackie and Delano Morrison.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday September 26, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Otsego 11770 Plainfield Road New Concord, OH 43762 with Rev. Gary Wade officiating.
