ZANESVILLE

Lena Alice Klass 81 of Zanesville passed away at 4:54 pm on Thursday October 8, 2009 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Lena was born in South Zanesville on June 13, 1928 to the late Joseph and Leola Henderson Wilson. Lena was a retired from David Davies Meat Packers, and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Past President Eagles Ladies Auxiliary where she helped form the ritual team, and the United Commercial Travelers of America.

She is survived by her husband Edmund Klass of the home, a son Ralph (Jane) Mitchell of Zanesville, a step daughter Judy (Terry) Chambers of Philo, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Charles Mitchell, four brothers James, Henry, Raymond, and Ralph Wilson, and a sister Mary Gill.

Calling hours will be 2-4 & 6-8pm on Sunday October 11 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday in The Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Paula Caton officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
