Martha L. Coffey, 72, of Chandlersville, passed away October 8th, 2009 at 5:48 am at her home surrounded by her family. Martha was born January 9, 1937 in Zanesville to the late Charles and Mary Howard Robinson. She retired from Franklin Local School District after 25 years and was a LPN for American Nursing care. Martha was a member of the Chandlersville United Methodist Church, where she served as Treasurer for several years. She was a member of Olive Branch Chapter #251 OES serving as a past matron and a 50 years member, a former EMT-A of the Harrison Twp EMS and member of Greater Zanesville Singers.
Surviving are a daughter Linda Coffey of South Zanesville and a son James Coffey of Chandlersville, a granddaughter Kayla Coffey of South Zanesville, Sister Fern Gabriel of South Zanesville and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne A. Coffey who passed away February 22, 2002, a sister Rosanna Brookover who just passed away on October 5, 2009 and a brother William Robinson.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Saturday, October 10th at Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday with the Rev. Ken Ogg officiating. Burial will follow in Chandlersville Cemetery.
The Olive Branch chapter OES will hold star service 5:45 pm Saturday.
