Raymond H. ''Skig'' Scott, Jr. , 73 of Norwich, died 12:03 PM Tuesday, February 02, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital following a six year battle with cancer. He was born Tuesday, February 02, 1937 in Hickory PA the son of Raymond H. Scott, Sr. and Freida (Mayle) Scott. He was a veteran of The United States Army with the 101st Airborn. He was a member of The Only One's Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a loving and caring father and grandfather.

Skig is survived by one daughter: Brooke Scott of Columbus and Manolito Scott of Columbus; one step-daughter: Beth Davis of Zanesville, one step-son: Pete Hartley of Zanesville; twelve grandchildren; two sisters: Anita Carter of Pittsburgh, Patricia Jones of San Antonio, TX,; one brother: Leon Mayle of Belpere; former brother-in-law: James ''Jimmy'' Carter of Scottsdale, AZ and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 12 Noon till 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2010 at The Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, where services will be held at 2:00 PM with The United States Army conducting full Military Honors.
