Ida M. Osborn, 87 of Philo, went to be with the Lord, at 11:55 a.m. Friday February 26, 2010 at her home.
Ida was born August 12, 1922 in Shawnee, OH, the daughter of the late George and Martha (Bell) Yerian. She was a loving and devoted mother and friend who loved birds, music, flowers, cooking and her family and she will be greatly missed.
Ida is survived by her eight children, Shirley Miller Elliott of Fultonham, Jerry Osborn of Newark, Carol (Bob) McCabe and Homer (Sally) Osborn of Zanesville, Steve (Linda) Osborn and Karen (Howard Thomas) Osborn of Blue Rock, Vallarie Kelso of East Fultonham, Sandy Osborn of the home, 22 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren, and her special companion, Jasper.
In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband whom she married May 4, 1940 in Greenup , KY, a great granddaughter, Aleashia Marie Osborn, twin grandsons, Jacob and Caleb Stotts, a son Russell Osborn, a daughter-in-law Renate Osborn.
Visitations will be 10 to 11 am Monday March 1st at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 11 am with Pastor Sturman Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Gaysport Hill Cemetery.
