Phillip “Mike” Michael Harrison, 69, of Zanesville, passed away at his home Thursday, May 06, 2010. Phillip was born in Zanesville, July 29, 1940 to the late Chester and Madge Hamilton Harrison.
Mike was an Electrical Engineer for the Raytheon Company and also served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the U.S. Navy. Mike was a member of the K of C and Elks and was an avid musician, who played saxophone and keyboard. He loved Jazz music. Mike was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Barbara Piver Harrison; sons: Gregory (Nichole Mihara) Harrison of Pasadena, California, Chris (Mary) Harrison of Hannibal, Ohio; daughters: Kimberly (Andrew) Pitcock of Zanesville and Jennifer (Edward) Steiger of Westerville; and 9 grandchildren: Daniel, Casey and Benjamin Pitcock, Kazuo and Eiji Harrison, Isaac, Maya, Ella, and Lila Steiger.
In addition to his parents Mike was preceded in death by his brother Richard “Bud” Harrison and sisters Lois Abbott and Jane Harrison.
Calling hours will be 6-8 pm, Friday, May 7, 2010 and 2-4 pm, Saturday, May 8. At THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Ralko at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Monday, May 10 at 10AM.
