Ralph Eugene Huhn (Ish), 80 of Cumberland, went to be with the Lord Monday Oct. 8, 2012 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, Zanesville.

Ralph was born June 17th 1932 in Spencer Township, son of the late Harry and Margaret (Moore) Huhn. He was an area farmer, he was a mechanic and welder and he worked on the ships of the Great Lakes. He retired after 30 years from the Ohio Ferro Alloy and he worked in the oil fields for a period of his life. Ralph had many interest and enjoyed several hobbies in his life including fishing, hunting, playing cards, horses, running demolition derby cars and working with antique tractors. He was a member of the Rix Mills Presbyterian Church. He was a devoted family man who was dearly loved and will be sadly missed.

He leaves his wife of 54 years Verna J. (McGilton) Huhn whom he married March 23, 1958; a son Walt (Connie) Huhn of Byesville; daughters Kim (Chris) McConnell of Cambridge, Pam (Tim) Jirles of Cambridge, Kathy (Joe) McDongall of Plainfield; his grandchildren Kevin (Stephanie) Huhn, Kristen (Huhn) Kneisley, Amber Horstman, Matthew Horstman, Tim Gibbs, Dustin Warne, Jesse Miller, Hanna Kofury, Joshua McDongall, Chasey McDongall and Chrissy Shaffer; 12 grandchildren; a sister Dorothy (Paul) Starr and brothers Robert, Dale, Jesse, John and Dana Huhn,

In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his son Doug Huhn and a grandson Joshua Dale Huhn.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, October 10th 2012 at the Farus Funeral Home, Cumberland, where funeral services will be 11 am Thursday with Rev. Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Cemetery.
