Freda L. Beisser, 89, of Roseville, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 21, 1923, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Glenn and Mary Barker Bowers. She had worked for McCoy Pottery and retired from Essex Wire. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.
Freda is survived by three daughters, Judy Ore of Florida, Charlene of Zanesville and Sophia (Sam) Strickler of Roseville; three sons, Charles Beisser, Jay (Wanda) Beisser, and Tony Beisser, all of Roseville; two brothers, Herman Bowers and Lewis (Kathleen) Bowers, both of Zanesville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles H. Beisser Sr.; a son, Kenneth D. Beisser Sr., twin infant sons, Ronald and Donald Beisser; two brothers, Everett and Dwight Bowers.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 33 N. MAIN ST., ROSEVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 3, 2013 with Rev. Ronnie Spring officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Rose Hill Cemetery.
