Virginia Louise Schneider, 89, of Zanesville, formerly of Cambridge, passed away at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born June 23, 1923, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Charles Edward Sr. and Phoebe Mercer Schneider. She graduated from Lash High School Class of 1941 and Central Bible Institute in Springfield, MO in 1950. She spent 33 years in Frozen Creek, KY as a minister. She returned to Ohio in 1984 and ministered in Cadiz, Caldwell and Cambridge. She was a member of Call to Freedom Fellowship of Cambridge.
Surviving are two sisters, her twin, Vivian E. Eppley and Jean Eppley, both of Zanesville; a brother, Charles E. Jr. (Millie) Schneider of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Allen Merkle and Dorothy Evelyn Schneider.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE with Pastor Jim Peters officiating. A private burial for Virginia will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
