Alma E. McGee, 91, of Zanesville, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Forest View Health Campus. She was born August 2, 1921, in Cannelville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hobart McKinley and Minnie Bradley Trout. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (Marsha) McGee and Thomas E. (Cathy) McGee; four daughters, Patty Drake, Carolyn (Ed) Toth, Marsha Archer and Jean (Rodney) Shook; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Myrna Ross; a sister-in-law, Rachel Trout; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick McGee; a daughter, Audrey McGee; a son, Robert McGee; two brothers, James Trout and Adrian Trout; a sister, Laura Gower; and a son-in-law, Donard Drake.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 in the Snouffer Chapel with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Alma will be laid to rest next to her husband in Stovertown Cemetery.
