Newark 5 Zanesville 2 -- The Americans got the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the 7th, but Michael Amicone lined out to the shortstop. Zanesville could have advanced to the state tournament in Newark with the win. It's a double elimination tournament. The deciding game will be at 5:30 today at Gant Municipal Stadium.
