For the two Zanesville Middle Schools, it's just like Ohio State vs. Michigan. Not only do the two schools wear similar colors (Roosevelt: Scarlet and Grey, GC: blue and gold) but the Bulldogs refer to it as the Roosevelt game and the Rough Riders refer to it as the Grover Cleveland game. 1500 people attended this year's meeting and watched Grover Cleveland score 18 unanswered points to win 24-6. Jerry Quarles had 2 touchdowns for the Bulldogs.
