The Zanesville Blue Devils open their season on August 22nd at Newark's white field, but Sulsberger Stadium will make its highly anticipated debut on August 29th when state runner up Licking Valley comes to town.
The Motz Group out of Cincinnati has been laying down the multipurpose field over the last few days as the field begins to once again look like a football surface.
Blue devil soccer will also be playing on the sulsberger turf this fall, and night games could be included.
The next step in the process is putting up the lights, which have been moved behind the statdium. The field will be done and debuted in the second week of the season.
