WHIZ has learned that pending final school board approval, Jeremy Ketcham will be the new head football coach at West Muskingum High School. Ketcham was a three year football letterwiner at Crooksville High School, the OU graduate is entering his seventh year in the Tornado football program, serving the last five years as the offensive coordinator. The transition between departing head coach Paul Perry should be relatively smooth, considering Ketcham has overseen a majority of the summer conditioning program before Perry announced his departure July 12th. Ketcham is inheriting a program that lost a considerable amount of talent from a team that finished the 2009 regular season 9-1, and hosted their first playoff game since 2005. Tornado football fans will get to see their new head coach in action for the first time on August 14th, in a scrimmage against Lakewood.
