Major League Soccer

Columbus Crew 0 - Colorado Rapids 1

A year after being knocked out of the MLS Cup Playoffs by Colorado, the Crew suffered the same fate this time around.

A late goal in the first half by Omar Cummings proved to be the difference in a 1-0 win for Colorado in the Wild Card round.  The Rapids will advance to play Sporting KC in the Conference Semifinals.

Columbus was outshot 18-9 in the loss, putting only three on goal to the Rapids' seven.  William Hesmer finished with six saves in goal for the Crew.

RED BULLS ROLL IN DALLAS

The New York Red Bulls rolled to a 2-0 victory over FC Dallas, Wednesday, in the MLS Cup Wild Card Round.  New York advances to the conference semifinals, where it will take on the top overall seed L.A. Galaxy.

Other playoff matchups in the semifinal round include: Philadelphia vs. Houston and Real Salt Lake vs. Seattle Sounders FC.
