Bishops Fall Short While Skins Pull Upset

Division VI Region 23 at Westerville Central:

#6 Rosecrans 7 #2 Buckeye Central 37

It took Rosecrans almost a half to find rythem in their ground game but when they did they were able to come back for a bit against Buckeye Central. The Bishops trailed 12-0 at the half, but Luke Lloyd rushed for 133 yards most of which came in the second half to pull the Bishops with in five at 12-7.

After a great kick off return though from the Bucks, Rosecrans was unable to stop a pass on fourth and goal from the 13 which gave the Bucks a 19-7 lead and then Buckeye Central rolled from there. Justin Herrnstein had three total touchdowns, one on an interception and two receiving in leading the Bucks to victory. Rosecrans finishes their season with a 7-5 record.

 

Division IV Region 15 at Sulsberger Stadium:

#5 Coshocton: 47 #1 St. Clarisville 21

-Coshocton advances to play Johnstown-Monroe Saturday November 19th

 

NCAA Football:

#2 Mount Union 28 Muskingum 0

Muskingum loses six straight to end the season.
