Tyler Miller was set to begin his senior year on the Philo baseball team, when the unthinkable happened: Tyler learned that he had Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The cancer diagnosis forced Tyler and his family to switch gears completely; instead of playing baseball, Tyler would begin to fight for his life.
The Duncan Falls community has not allowed Tyler to fight this disease alone. Almost immediately, people began showing up to the Miller household with food, buying wristbands, making shirts, and supporting what became known as "Team Tyler" any way they could. The noise that Philo made for Tyler ended up carrying throughout Southeast Ohio, and now virtually every team in our area is a part of Team Tyler in one way or another.
