Zanesville native Kevin Martin has been through contract negotiations before but for the first time it wasn't to resign with his current team. The former Blue Devil became a free agent Monday and now has a new home according to multiple reports.
Minnesota has agreed to a four year contract with Martin worth between 28 and 30 million dollars. The terms of the deal have not been released officially but Martin would be making close to seven million dollars annually.
Martin will be joining the T-Wolves who already have Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio. It is the fourth team Martin will have played for in his NBA career starting with the Kings before being shipped to Houston and then joining Oklahoma City this year.
