Muskingum University is bringing back a former Muskie to coach the men's soccer team.

Chris Limle, a 2009 graduate of Muskingum, arrives in New Concord after serving as head coach at Thiel College (Pa.) for one season.

Prior to coaching the Tomcats, Limle was a graduate assistant at D-II Concord University (W. Va.) and an assistant coach at Muskingum.

During his playing days for the Muskies, Limle helped lead Muskingum to its first OAC tournament appearance.

The watch list for the Lombardi Award--given to the top college lineman or linebacker--was announced today, and two Buckeyes made the cut.

Senior defensive tackle Michael Bennett and sophomore defensive end Joey Bosa joined 121 other players on the list.

Bennett earned second-team all-Big Ten honors for his performance in the 2013 season, finishing his junior year with 42 tackles and 7 sacks.

Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and his brother, Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, have yet again run into legal trouble as co-owners of diesel retailer Pilot Flying J. The company has agreed to pay $92 million dollars in fines for deceiving customers out of promised rebates and discounts.

The Associated Press reports that 10 employees from the company have pleaded guilty to participating in the scheme. Jimmy Haslam claims he was unaware of any illegal happenings.

The Zanesville Jets had multiple opportunities to upset OFL powerhouse Western Reserve on Sunday, but the Scourge used a 4th down conversion in double OT to walk away with the road victory.

Western Reserve backup quarterback David Flack found receiver DeAndre Rodgers to give the visitors the win.

The Jets are away at Canton next Saturday, but return home for their final regular season home matchup on July 26 against the Pittsburgh Blue Devils.

 Former Zanesville Blue Devil and current Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Kevin Martin has returned to his old stomping grounds to host his 6th annual basketball camp.

"This camp is just one of my favorite weeks of the year because it shows how much involvement the community puts into myself and me into the community," said Martin. "It's a win-win for everybody. It's an unbelievable relationship that we have."

Morgan youth football will be hosting a camp featuring former college and NFL players. The camp is set to take place on Saturday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at Kiwanis-Jaycee Community Park in Malta.

Four Cincinnati Reds heard their names called on the initial National League all-star roster. Pitchers Johnny Cueto and Aroldis Chapman, catcher Devin Mesoraco and third baseman Todd Frazier will be heading to Target Field in Minneapolis for the midsummer classic, which takes place on July 15.

Cueto will be making his first all-star appearance in his seventh year in the league. The 28-year-old was a lock selection, as he is currently second in the Major Leagues with a 1.99 ERA. ...
