AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Michigan guard Manny Harris says he has not decided if he will return for his senior season or enter the NBA draft.

Harris said Tuesday night during halftime of the Cleveland Cavaliers-Detroit Pistons game that he isn't sure when he will make his decision.

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) — Highly regarded Boston Red Sox minor league prospect Ryan Westmoreland has undergone surgery in Arizona to remove a cavernous malformation in his brain.

The team made the announcement Tuesday night, saying a five-hour procedure was performed at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. The surgery was performed by Dr. Robert Spetzler.

HOUSTON (AP) — Former major league infielder Chuck Knoblauch has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault on his common-law wife.

According to court records, Knoblauch entered his plea Tuesday in exchange for deferred-adjudication probation. Successful completion of his one-year probation could mean the conviction on the assault of a family member would be expunged from the record.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — San Diego Chargers chief operating officer Jim Steeg says he is leaving the team at the end of the month.

Steeg says in a statement that he's leaving to pursue "further challenges."

Steeg didn't return a call and e-mail seeking further comment Tuesday.

Before joining the Chargers in 2004, Steeg worked for the NFL. He was in charge of the Super Bowl for a quarter century.
