Peterson, second in the league with 997 yards rushing, has been limited for three weeks with a groin injury and was held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday. But the reigning MVP will be "ready to roll" when Minnesota hosts Chicago and its 32nd-ranked run defense Sunday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson will miss his second straight game with a sprained knee, and DeAngelo Williams and two other Carolina running backs are questionable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.
Of the three running backs, Williams remains the biggest concern with a thigh contusion. He has not practiced all week.
Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert are also questionable, but both practiced Friday on a limited basis...
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans will be without receiver Damian Williams and tight end Craig Stevens on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
Neither player practiced all week. Williams will miss his third consecutive game with a hip injury. Stevens sustained a concussion against the Oakland Raiders last week, leaving Tennessee with only Delanie Walker and Taylor Thompson available at tight end.
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Running back Zac Stacy, one of three Rams players who left Sunday's 42-21 win over the Chicago Bears with concussion-like symptoms, has been cleared to play at San Francisco on Sunday.
Cornerback Trumaine Johnson and left guard Chris Williams also were sidelined with blows to the head, but will be available against the 49ers.
All three returned to practice in a limited role Thursday, then were full participants Friday at Rams Park....
