MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay (AP) — Uruguay's famously casual President Jose Mujica is tossing some earthy expletives at FIFA over its four-month ban of Luis Suarez.

Mujica referred to FIFA as "bunch of old sons of whores" as he welcomed Uruguay's team back from the World Cup on Sunday.

He also referred to FIFA's stiff penalty on Uruguay's star striker Luis Suarez as "fascist," though he said that Suarez could have been sanctioned with a lesser sentence....

LONDON (AP) — Eugenie Bouchard won the last four games to reach the Wimbledon quarterfinals with a 7-6 (5), 7-5 win Monday over Alize Cornet.

Cornet, who upset Serena Williams in the third round, led 5-3 in the second set but lost her next two service games and the match.

Bouchard, who is the only woman this year to have advanced to the semifinals of both Grand Slam tournaments, will next face either 2004 champion Maria Sharapova or Angelique Kerber...

LONDON (AP) — Last year's Wimbledon runner-up, Sabine Lisicki of Germany, reached the fourth round by beating 2008 French Open champion Ana Ivanovic 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 Monday in a match that began two days earlier.

The second set was at 1-all Saturday night when the match was suspended because of darkness.

Wimbledon takes the middle Sunday off, which is why the 19th-seeded Lisicki and 11th-seeded Ivanovic didn't resume until Monday.

TERESOPOLIS, Brazil (AP) — Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari admits that a lack of experience is hurting Brazil's young squad at the World Cup.

The coach is also blaming the some of the team's struggles, which include a disappointing performance that nearly led to its elimination by Chile in the second round, on the pressure of needing to succeed in front of the home fans.

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago will hold a World Cup viewing party in Soldier Field after previous U.S. games drew tens of thousands to the city's lakefront Grant Park.

U.S. Soccer and the city plan a watch party on Tuesday afternoon at the stadium where the Chicago Bears play. Soccer fans can watch the U.S. team take on Belgium. Gates open at 1:30 p.m. and the match starts at 3 p.m.

The company said Monday the milestone was reached over the weekend. No other single event has generated this much activity on Facebook in the history of the social media site. MILAN (AP) — Star midfielder Kaka has ended his contract with AC Milan, leaving the former Brazil international free to sign with Orlando City Soccer Club.

Milan says Kaka's contract has been "resolved by mutual consent." Kaka will fly to the United States on Monday night to sign with the new Major League Soccer franchise.

The 32-year-old player is expected to return on loan to his first club, Sao Paulo, before joining Orlando City SC in January 2015...

PARIS (AP) — The city of Nice, on France's Cote d'Azur, is banning the "ostentatious display" of foreign flags during the World Cup, citing security concerns.

Monday's announcement comes hours ahead of the Algeria-Germany match in Brazil. France, which has a sizable population with Algerian roots, saw 74 arrests after Algeria drew with Russia to qualify for the round of 16, and Algerian flags are draped outside windows and emblazoned on cars throughout the country....
