FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets rookie wide receiver Jalen Saunders is back with the team after being hospitalized over the weekend following a car accident.

Saunders, a fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma, was released from the hospital Sunday morning. He was involved in a single-car accident on his way to the team's practice facility early Friday morning.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The NHL's pre-draft scouting combine will be held in Buffalo the next two seasons.

NHL Vice President Colin Campbell on Monday called Buffalo a "natural fit" in announcing the league's decision at a news conference with the Sabres.

NEW YORK (AP) — New York Mets right-hander Bartolo Colon has been scratched from his start because he is going to the Dominican Republic to be with his ailing mother.

Manager Terry Collins said reliever Carlos Torres is going to fill in for the 41-year-old Colon against the Chicago Cubs on Monday.

BOSTON (AP) — The fiancee of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez is seeking to have perjury charges dismissed.

Shayanna Jenkins' lawyers filed a motion in county court in Fall River stating that prosecutors failed to provide sufficient evidence to a grand jury. The defense's legal memorandum supporting the arguments was filed under seal.

COMMERCE, Texas (AP) — Former Texas running back Joe Bergeron, who was dismissed from the team for undisclosed rules violations, has enrolled at Texas A&M-Commerce.
