GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Carson Palmer looks around him and sees just how good the Arizona Cardinals could be.

He says it's "by far" the most talented team he's been a part of in his 11 NFL seasons.

Whether that talent translates to success on the field could depend in large part on the performance of the 34-year-old quarterback in his second season in coach Bruce Arians' system.

Palmer is comfortable in that offense now, knowing...

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) — Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid is serious about what he has said about competition at the cornerback position.

Sean Smith, last year's starter at right cornerback, moved to the second team for the last four days of organized team activities. His status hasn't changed three days into training camp.

"We look at Sean as a first-team player," Reid said. "We need all those guys and we need two-deep at the corner where we feel...

CORTLAND, N.Y. (AP) — A lot was expected of Dee Milliner last year as the New York Jets' first-round draft pick.

The cornerback had a rough rookie season, but rebounded with solid play in the final few games.

With Antonio Cromartie gone after signing with Arizona, Milliner might have even more pressure on him in his second season. He's being counted on to be the Jets' No. 1 cornerback, a role Rex Ryan insists the former Alabama star is ready for....
