The Detroit Tigers rallied to win twice and also won in a rout. They also blew a big lead in the ninth, but held on for another victory. And on Sunday, his team got beat in businesslike fashion.

The upshot — and it is real early — is the Tigers have the best record in baseball.

A cool, calm and...

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Jets forward Evander Kane is returning to Winnipeg's lineup, but the player and coach Paul Maurice aren't shedding any light on why Kane rode the bench in Toronto over the weekend.

It wasn't his first time as a healthy scratch. Former coach Claude Noel also benched the left winger.

But Kane and Maurice kept the reasons for this one to themselves Monday.

Maurice says the Jets will be without forwards...

Mesoraco wasn't in the starting lineup Monday at St. Louis. Manager Bryan Price says he had Bryan Pena catching Tony Cingrani...
