CHICAGO (AP) — Kevin Dineen, who coached Canada's women's hockey team to a gold medal at the Sochi Olympics, has returned to the NHL as an assistant with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Dineen was head coach of the Florida Panthers for two-plus seasons before being fired last fall.
