BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Browns quarterback Jason Campbell is practicing for the second straight day, increasing the likelihood he will start at New England on Sunday.
Campbell missed last week's game with a concussion sustained on Nov. 24 against Pittsburgh. He was cleared to practice for the first time since the injury on Thursday and only had to get permission from an independent neurologist before he can play.
DURBAN, South Africa (AP) — The Nelson Mandela Championship golf tournament will end one day early next week to recognize the state funeral for the late president.
This is the second year the tournament is part of the official European Tour schedule. It was scheduled for Dec. 12-15 at Mount Edgecombe Country Club. The European Tour and Sunshine Tour say it now will start Wednesday and end Saturday.

Petersen agreed to become the football coach at Washington. The Huskies made the announcement on Friday morning after Petersen reportedly met with Washington athletic director Scott Woodward on Thursday night in Boise.
