FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Mercedes says its motorsport chief Toto Wolff will attend the Hungarian Grand Prix this week despite breaking several bones in a cycling crash in his native Austria.

The Formula One team says Wolff has fractures in his shoulder, collarbone, an elbow and a wrist after a crash involving several members of the team during an outing along the Danube. Wolff is still in a Vienna hospital but plans to attend the race on the Hungaroring outside Budapest...

BAKU, Azerbaijan (AP) — Former champion Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia returned to the Baku Cup quarterfinals by beating Katarzyna Piter of Poland 6-3, 6-1 on Wednesday.

Jovanovski, the 2012 champ seeded fifth, will meet surprise Japanese qualifier Misa Eguchi on Friday.

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — Olympic silver-medalist boxer Fred Evans of Wales has been denied accreditation for the Commonwealth Games.

Games officials on Wednesday would not give a reason for the ban, although Welsh media reported that the 23-year-old welterweight from Cardiff was ordered to pay fines of more than $2,000 after admitting to a role in a nightclub assault in Birmingham, England.

DENVER (AP) — Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen is giving up control of the team as he battles Alzheimer's disease.

The team announced Wednesday that the 70-year-old Bowlen will no longer be a part of the team's daily operations. Team president Joe Ellis will take over after being named as the Broncos' chief executive officer.
