 Authorities believe alcohol may have caused a crash that sends one to the hospital. 

The Cambridge Police Department said the crash took place just before 5 a.m. Sunday. According to the police report Shannon Dubois was driving his vehicle when he failed to slow for the turn on South 9th Street and Carlisle Avenue. 

His vehicle traveled over an embankment and over the side of the hill, falling around 150 feet down. He was able to climb out of the car.

A blue mini van struck a pole on Blue Avenue and knocked out power for the surrounding area. The occupant was not injured. The Zanesville Police Department is investigating the crash. No word on how long power may be out for. Traffic is closed from the Speedway on State Street to McIntire Ave.

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol says a 20 Year-Old woman was taken by MedFlight to Grant Hospital in Columbus following a one car crash on State Route 669 near Roseville.

There are no details on her injuries at this time.

The woman was the only person involved in the accident.

A tragic story from the city of Warren, about 60 miles east of Cleveland, where six teenagers were killed by a one-vehicle crash Sunday morning. One teen was ejected and found beneath the vehicle and five others were found dead inside while two people managed to crawl out and called 9-1-1.

An afternoon visit turned into a trip to the hospital for one Zanesville man.

Muskingum County Sheriff's Deputy John Howe says that around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon 86-year-old James West accidentally drove into the home of his grandson, 29-year-old Christopher Paynter at 880 Grove Road. Deputy Howe says when West pulled into the driveway instead of slowing down he accelerated, crashing into the home. The Highway Patrol says an accident Saturday night on Interstate 70 was caused by a frisky feline.

According to State Trooper Jody Sawyers, the driver of a red pick up truck was driving westbound around mile marker 139, when the man's cat jumped into his lap, causing him to lose control and go into a ditch.
Both the driver, and the cat are ok.
The driver, who has yet to be identified, was taken to Good Samaritan hospital in fair condition.

The State Highway Patrol said alcohol is believed to be a factor in a one vehicle crash in Licking County, Tuesday night.

The Granville Post said that the accident took place around 9:25p.m. on State Route 586 near Fallsburg Road in Fallsbury Township.

Troopers said that 55-year-old James Sandlin, of Frazeysburg, was traveling north on 586 when he drove off the left side of the roadway, striking two trees and overturning.

One woman is sent to the hospital after her vehicle overturned Wednesday.

It happened just after noon on Chandlersville road, near Three Towers road in Muskingum County. According to Sgt. Clark Felix of the State Highway Patrol, a woman driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee was headed westbound on Chandlersville road, when she swerved off the left side of the road, struck two trees, and overturned in a field.

A Coshocton woman is dead after a one car accident yesterday.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. in Perry County.

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Ann Brown was traveling westbound on Tatman's Road and she failed to stop at the State Route 13 intersection. It says the car went off the right side of the road, hit a ditch, went airborne, and then struck a tree. Troopers say the car landed on its top.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
