An accident in Newton Township sent six children to the hospital Thursday afternoon.
The two car accident happened at U.S. 22 and State Route 93.
"We got there and there was two cars involved, we had help from the South Zanesville Fire Department, Falls Township and Community Ambulance and six people were transported to the hospital," says Josh Bryan with the Newton Township Fire Department.

Three people are sent to the hospital after a head-on collision on I-70.
According to Zanesville State Highway Patrol Post Commander Steven Rine, a silver G6 was headed west-bound on the interstate, when the driver lost control, bumped another car and crossed into the median. The car then crossed into the oncoming traffic of the east-bound lane and hit a green Buick head-on.

The Zanesville Highway Patrol now says both lanes of I-70 Eastbound near Gratiot have re-opened after an accident. It happened around 1:00 pm and involved several vehicles. Med-Flight was called to the scene, but cannot respond due to the weather. Initial reports indicate there are serious injuries as a result of the accident. No other details have been released.
Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus says a four-year-old boy is in poor condition after an accident Wednesday night.
Lancaster Police Lieutenant Scott Cox says Drayden Saylor went on to the street and entered the path of a van that was traveling in the 400 block of West Wheeling Street. It was driven by 65-year-old Herbert Smith.
Drayden was initially transported to Fairfield Medical Center and then taken by Medflight to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
A two-vehicle accident sends two people to the hospital.
It happened around 12:45 Monday afternoon.
Trooper Mike Forshey of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says 25-year-old Adrienne Merriam of Adamsville was driving a red Jeep North on Sonora Road over the I-70 overpass when 44-year-old Tammy McDaniel of Cambridge pulled out from a stop sign and struck Merriam.
Forshey says the car spun out after hitting the Jeep.
A woman is taken to the hospital Saturday evening after being hit by a car in Perry County.
Sgt. Klein with the New Lexington Police Department says the woman was struck in the leg by a car outside of C Kay's Bar and Grill on Mill Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The woman was then transported to the hospital. Sgt. Klein says the investigation is underway and charges are pending.
A train struck a car just after 5:00 p.m. at Terry's Tavern in Zanesville.
Sgt. Chris Phipps with the Zanesville Police Department says a train clipped a parked Jeep Cherokee which pushed the Cherokee into a Honda.
"People park here all the time and he (train engineer) probably just came through, of course, even if he did see it, these things (trains) don't stop on a dime. You can't really stop very quickly," says Sgt. Phipps.
