Four people are sent to the hospital after a three-car accident in Licking County.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. on State Route 62 near Utica.

Granville Post Trooper Palmer says a juvenile driver went left of center, striking a truck. A third vehicle, a van driving behind the truck, couldn't stop in time and ran into the first collision.

The juvenile driver was taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where Palmer says the patient is in intensive care in critical condition...

A one-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 22 in Perry County sends two people to the hospital.

It happened around 3 p.m. four miles west of Somerset.

Troopers from the Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol say the car was traveling east on 22 when it lost control, crossed the center line, went into a ditch and over-turned.

Troopers say a man and a woman were in the car at the time.

They were transported to Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster with non-life...

Four people are treated at the hospital after an afternoon accident.

It happened around 4:45 p.m. on State Route 216 near New Straitsville.

Trooper David Lee from the Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol says Stacey Fulton was traveling south and going around a curve too quickly when she struck a car, driven by Richard Lemaster, who was traveling north.

Lee says Fulton was transported to Hocking Valley Hospital and later taken to Grant Medical Center with non-life...

A 78-year-old man, involved in a December 27th accident in Newark, has died.

A Grant Medical Center spokesman confirmed that Royle Campbell died yesterday.

Campbell and his wife, 75-year-old Barbara, were driving on Thornwood Road when their SUV went off the side of the road and hit a tree.

Rescue crews used the "jaws of life" at the scene before initially taking both Royle and Barbara to Licking Memorial Hospital.

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says last night's back-up on Interstate 70 was caused by two separate accidents.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near Gratiot.

Dispatchers say a Hummer that was pulling a trailor lost control and went off the right side of the road, striking a guardrail.

The second accident involved two cars. Dispatchers say one of the drivers slowed down for the crashed Hummer but the other couldn't, causing it to crash...

Five people are sent to Good Samaritan Hospital after a two car accident.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. on State Route  60 near Narrows Road in Dresden.

Zanesville Post Sergeant Jeremy Mendenhall says the black car was attempting to make a left turn onto Narrows road when it struck the blue car traveling south on State Route  60.

A woman is sent to Good Samaritan Hospital after a one vehicle accident.

It happened around 2:45 this afternoon at the intersection of US 22 and Ritberger Road.

"The vehicle was on its side. Apparently, the driver at the top of the hill realized she was in the oncoming path of the semi-trailer, " says Newton Township Fire Department's Jermey Yarger.

An elderly couple is sent to Licking Memorial Hospital after an accident in Newark.

It happened just before nine p.m. last night on Thornwood Road.

Newark Fire Department Assistant Chief Bill Spurgeon says an SUV went off the side of the road and struck a tree.

An eight-year old boy is sent to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries after an afternoon incident.

It happened around 4 p.m. near 627 Munson Road in Zanesville.

Zanesville Police Department Sergeant Chris Phipps says the boy was chasing a dog that got loose and went out the front door of his home, and he failed to look before running out into the street. Phipps says the driver of the vehicle saw the boy and stopped, but the boy ran into the side of the car.

The Zanesville Police Department takes a man into custody after an accident.

It happened on the Maysville Pike around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Ohio 719.

Patrolman Tignor says the driver of the car made an illegal right turn at the intersection and ran into the truck.

Neither driver nor the five passengers in the car were injured in the incident, but Tignor conducted an OVI test at the scene and says alcohol may be a factor in the incident.
