The accident involving a car and truck happened around 5:15p.m. on Gene Cox Memorial Drive just east of Dresden. Fire crews and a MedFlight helicopter responded to the scene near a crop field.
"It appears that the Dodge truck was backing out of this farm field. It was in the middle of the road when the Honda came over the rise from the railroad crossing and the Honda was unable to stop to avoid hitting the truck," said Bill Duerson of The Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle accident that happened around 10:30 Friday morning. Trooper Mike Forshey says a car was traveling on Millers Lane between 50 and 60 miles an hour and went onto the berm, overcorrected, and flipped over into a field. Trooper Forshey says there were two people in the car. They were not injured. The driver will be cited with failure to control. Names and other details have not yet been released.

According to the State Highway Patrol, it happened just before 5:30 Tuesday night. Trooper Adam McKenzie said a Ford Taurus attempted to make a left turn off of McGlade School Road and failed to yield to a Ford Mustang on Northpointe Drive.

The Highway Patrol is investigating another serious accident in Muskingum County. Troopers say it happened on McGlade School Road just before 2 p.m. The Patrol says one vehicle was involved and ended up off the road. There were five people in the car and the Patrol said the driver was ejected. All of the victims were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital. The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said around 2:30a.m. Thursday a deputy attempted to catch up to a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign on Plum Street at 6th Street in Coshocton.
The vehicle fled and lost control in the curves at Clow Water Systems. The driver 24-year-old Michael Ogle, of Coshocton, overcorrected and drove off the right side of the road before sliding into a utility pole.

An injury accident shuts down traffic on state route 146.
The two vehicle crash happened around 5:30 Wednesday evening at the intersection of 586 and 146.
"A maroon minivan was traveling Westbound on 146 when the white Ford Crossover attempted to make a left hand turn onto 146 in front of the minivan and was struck by the minivan," said Trooper Adam McKenzie with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol.
