The Zanesville Police Department is investigating an evening accident on Underwood Street that sent one to the hospital.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. near Wendy's.

Sergeant Chris Phipps says the driver of the red Buick was making a left from Eastman Street when he suffered a medical condition and hit a green Jeep traveling northbound on Underwood Street.

Three people were involved in the incident, but Phipps says only the driver of the red Buick was transported to Good...

The State Highway Patrol says a month old baby remains hospitalized in critical condition after a three vehicle accident near Dresden.

It happened just after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday  at State Route 60 and Raiders Road.

According to Sgt. Jeremy Mendenhall, 23-year-old Samantha Newell of Newark was turning off of Raiders Road when she went through a red light and was struck by a vehicle heading south on SR 60.

An injury on Maple Avenue sends one to the hospital this evening.

It happened about 7:30 this evening.

According to Lt. Tony Coury of the Zanesville Police Department, a blue Chevy Lumina was traveling southbound on Maple Avenue in the turning lane. He says another car, a silver Mitzubishi had just turned off a side street and was traveling north on Maple, attempting to get into the turning lane.

The Zanesville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says it's investigating a one vehicle accident that had a portion of US 36 in Coshocton County closed for about 90 minutes.

It happened around 1:30 p.m.

The Zanesville Post says a commercial truck, hauling fiber material fabric, went off the right side of the road and into a cornfield.

The driver wasn't injured in the accident, but it caused the westbound lane of US 36 to close for about an hour and a half.

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating what it's calling an assault.

It happened around 9:15 p.m. on Downard Road.

Sergeant Fibbs says a woman was intentionall hit with a car and then the driver took off.

Fibbs says the woman was taken to the hopsital by a friend with minor injuries.

The Zanesville Police Department is currently tracking down the driver of the car.

Wet roads are being blamed for an early morning accident in Zanesville that sent one woman to the hospital.

Around 8:45 emergency crews responded to a rollover accident on Interstate 70 near the Adamsville exit.

"It looks like she was just traveling westbound on the interstate, probably hydro-planed on the wet roadway which caused her to slide into the median. The vehicle then struck a culvert and over-turned at least once when it came to rest on its side," says...

A semi-truck driver was lucky to escape injury after a crash around 11:15 Thursday night that left his truck in pieces.

According Trooper Brian Neff with the Cambridge Post of the State Highway Patrol, Charles King of Girard was traveling southbound on U.S. 22 near the London Dairy when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road.

The Granville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle crash involving eight people.

It happened around 5 p.m. on Morse Road, just west of State Route 310.

Authorities say 17-year-old Abigal Curtiss of Worthington was driving eastbound on Morse Road and attempted to make a left turn when she was struck by 58-year-old Richard Plageman of Columbus, who was traveling westbound on Morse Road.

A two vehicle accident sends two people to the hospital.

It happened just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Brandywine Blvd. and Maple Avenue in Zanesville.

The Zanesville Police Department says an elderly woman drove her car through a red light, causing her to strike and elderly man in a white van.

Both were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. Their injuries are not known at this time.

The accident is still under investigation.

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says a three car accident on State Route 37 injured three people.

It happened around 7:15 this morning in Granville.

The Granville Post says one vehicle traveling westbound on 37 hit a second vehicle also traveling westbound, causing the second vehicle to go left of center and hit a concrete barrier. The first vehicle then struck a third vehicle, going eastbound on 37, forcing that third vehicle to go off the road...
