Two vehicles sustain major damage after an accident Thursday evening.

Trooper Adam Mckenzie of the State Highway Patrol says around 5:46 p.m. a red Toyota Echo driven by Jessica Moore was traveling westbound on State Route 146 when she attempted to make a left-hand turn onto North Dietz Road and was struck by a green Ford Focus driven by Jon Hummel.

Moore was driving with her one-year-old daughter. No one was injured in the accident.

A Coshocton County Deputy is injured after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.

The Cambridge Post of the State High Patrol says around 7:47 a.m. Coshocton County Deputy James Crawford lost control of his cruiser on the ramp from I-77 southbound to I-70 westbound.

Crawford went off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and then struck a westbound commercial truck driven by David Sykora of Amelia, Ohio.

A Newark man is taken to the hospital almost 10 hours after his car crashes in Licking County.

It happened around 12:30 Sunday morning on State Route 657.

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Daniel Hofacker was traveling northwest when he lost control of his 1997 black Acura. The Zanesville Police Department says alcohol may be a contributing factor in a single car accident that sent the driver to the hospital.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Moxahala Avenue and Elmore Street.

Sergeant Chris Phipps says the driver of the red Ford was traveling north in the 1000-block of Moxahala Avenue when he ran into the back of a green SUV that was parked. The vehicle eventually came to a stop on the sidewalk.

A portion of Interstate 70 westbound was restricted to one lane while crews tended to a two-vehicle accident.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. at the 160 mile marker, near the city of Zanesville.

Zanesville Post State Trooper Williams says the woman was driving in the passing lane when she side-swiped an SUV traveling in the other lane. He says she then lost control of the vehicle, went off the right side of the road, and hit a ditch.

One person is sent to the hospital after a two car accident.

Zanesville police say around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday a Honda Civic was traveling south on Maple Avenue when it was struck by a Chevy Cavalier that was attempting to make a left-turn onto Locust Avenue.

The driver of the Honda was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. Police say the driver of the Chevy will be cited with right of way when turning left.

A Tuesday morning accident in Harrison Township causes a vehicle to overturn.

It happened on State Route 669, near Township Road 442.

Lancaster Post State Trooper Gregory Hurd says the driver was traveling east on State Route 669 when he slid on gravel, went off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, and landed on the vehicle's top.

No one was injured in the incident.

State Trooper Hurd says the driver will be cited with failure to control.

A bicyclist is taken by Medflight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus after an evening accident in Newark.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. near 21st Street.

Sergeant Al Schaffer says the individual was riding through parking lots and attempting to ramp from one elevation to another when the bike broke. It caused the bicyclist to fall to the ground where Sergeant Schaffer says he sustained serious facial injuries. His condition is not known at this time.

The Hebron Fire Department says a driver is seriously injured on the National Trail Raceway Saturday night.

Firefighter Richard Gethin says the driver, who was taking part in a race, crashed and had to be extricated from the car. Medflight was called to the scene and did transport the man to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. His condition is not known at this time.
