The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says one area man was hurt after he accidentally shot himself.  Lieutenant Jeff LeCocq  says it happened Sunday afternoon around 5:30 at 3953 Clear Lake Road. LeCocq says 24-year-old Christopher Sims of Ridge Road was target shooting with a 22 caliber handgun and was attempting to clear the final bullet and shot himself in the left land.  He was transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital where he was treated and released. ...
