A plane crash south of Athens sends a pilot to the hospital.
It happened in Albany around 7:15 Thursday, just off Washington Road near U.S. 50 westbound.
Authorities say the plane went north of the Ohio University Airport and crashed into trees behind a sub-division.
They say the pilot walked out of the plane with visible injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
